Funeral services for Sheena Lanae Braxton Byrd, 40, of Brookhaven, MS, who passed away in Brookhaven, MS will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Wesson, MS at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Earl Jefferson Officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS and on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until the service time.
Sheena was born on July 3,1982 in Brookhaven, MS to Willie Ferdinand and Andrea Weathersby.
Sheena was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her stepfather, Roosevelt Kelly.
Sheena to cherish her memories: her husband, Roger Lee Byrd; her mother, Andrea Weathersby and husband Finnis; her father, Willie Ferdinand; seven sisters, six brothers, seven aunts, six uncles; two godchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
