Gloster – January 28, 1965 – January 1, 2023 Funeral services for Scotty Wayne Dickens, 57, of Ponchatoula, LA, who passed away in Centreville, MS will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the National Guard Armory Gloster, MS at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Tyrone Powell Officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the National Guard Armory. Scotty was born on January 28, 1965, in Coles, MS to Charlie Dickens Sr. and Catherine Bonds Dickens. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Sr. and Catherine Bonds Dickens; grandparents Cotrell and Elease Wilson Bonds and William and Mary Terrell Dickens; two brothers, Joseph Dickens and David Dickens. Scotty leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Brenda Galtney of Centreville, MS, Patricia Williams and husband Percy of Baton Rouge, LA and Sandra Dickens of Ponchatoula, LA; eight brothers, Charlie Dickens Jr. and wife Pedra of Alzey, Germany, Leo Dickens and wife Donna, Micheal Dickens and wife Michelle both of Ponchatoula, LA, Willie Dickens of Hammond, LA, Lawrence Dickens of Savannah, GA, Johnny Dickens and wife Sherryl of Gloster, MS, Dwight Dickens of Indianapolis, IN and Darrell Dickens of Crosby, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
