Graveside services for Samuel Bacon, 90, of Natchez, MS, who passed away on June 23, 2020, will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Rev. Emma Scott under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Walk-through visitation services will be held on Thursday, July 2, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Samuel was born on November 6, 1929, in Natchez, MS, to Warrenton and Salomi Bacon.
Samuel was a faithful member and steward of St. James A.M.E. Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memories a beautiful, loving wife, Susie K. Bacon of Natchez, MS; one son, Donald Ray Bacon of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Linda (Anthony) Davis of Natchez; grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special nephew, Willie (Irma) Woods of Natchez; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
