January 29, 1943 – January 12, 2022 Lorman, MS — Funeral Services for Myrtle Williams McDonald of Port Gibson, MS, 78, who passed away on January 12, 2022, in Vicksburg, MS will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at East Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lorman, MS at 2 p.m. with Elder James Devine officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2022, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez from 3 to 5 p.m. where masks are required(we practice social distancing) and on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1 P. M. until service time at the East Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Myrtle was born on January 29, 1943, in Claiborne County, MS, to Myrlee Otha Williams Sr and Roberta Groves Williams. She is preceded in death by both her parents; maternal grandparents, Fred and Georgia Groves; paternal grandparents, George and Evelyn Williams; her husband, Leon McDonald; one sone, Tyrone McDonald; one special son, Rufus Keller; two brothers, Douglas Williams and Myrlee Williams Jr.; two sisters, Avon Armstrong and Maxine Williams. Myrtle leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Angela Faye Davis and husband Charles of Port Gibson and De’Tyrianne McDonald of Vicksburg, MS; one son, Marvin McDonald and wife Stacy; three special daughters, Brenda Appleton, Pauline Watson and Sabrina Coleman all of Vicksburg, MS; two special sons, Re. Ray E. Coleman Sr. and Ricky Coleman both of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Vivian Williams of Vicksburg, MS and Jerry Williams of Chicago, IL; one brother, Raymond Williams of Port Gibson, MS; two aunts, Olega Coleman of Atlanta, GA and Bobbie Lawrence of Milwaukee, WI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
