Meadville – November 2, 1952 – April 20, 2022
Funeral services for Mary Elaine Bedford, 69, of Bude, who passed away on April 20, 2022 in Bude, MS, will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS with Rev. Marvin Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Gloster, MS under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS, and on Wednesday, April 27, from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Lighthouse Center.
Elaine was born on November 2, 1952, in Natchez, MS, to the George Etheridge and Mary Frances Thomas Etheridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Etheridge; three sisters, Estelle Allen, Dale Allen and Reba Boyd; two brothers, James Etheridge and Sye Etheridge.
Elaine leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Mary Doris Bedford and Jessica Lynn Bedford-Flowers; two sons, David Weed and Dewayne Weed; two sisters, Elizabeth Dunn and Christine Hawley; a close sister-in-law, Donna Etheridge; eleven, grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
