Gloster - March 26, 1980 - March 13, 2023
Funeral services for LaVonda Patrice Johnson, 42, of Gloster, who passed away on March 13, 2023, will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Emanuel Powell Jr. officiating under the direction Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation service will be held on Saturday, March 25, from 11:00 until the service time at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
LaVonda was born on March 26, 1980, in Natchez, MS, to Theothis and Edna Taylor Johnson.
She is preceded in death by parents and grandparents Mary Ethel Sims, Wilbert Johnson, Thelma Lee McIver, Samuel Burgman, and Gilbert Johnson.
LaVonda leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Katrina Johnson of Gloster, MS; brothers, Abrham Johnson of Gloster, MS, and Trico Huff of Austin, TX; nephews, Travarious Johnson of Gloster, MS, and Trenton Johnson of Biloxi, MS; and a special cousin like a brother to her, Jerey Lands of Walker, LA.
