Funeral services for Joyce L. Hughes, 71, of Liberty, MS, who departed this earthly life on September 17, 2021, at her residence will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, on the church grounds of New Hope Baptist Church in Gloster, MS, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Matthew Maiden officiating burial will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Clinton, LA under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until service time on the church grounds.
Ms. Joyce was born on August 1, 1950, in Liberty, MS, to Frank and Bythella Loyell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Eunice Lonnon; two uncles, James and Hosea Sensley.
Joyce leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Henry Hughes; four daughters: Cheryl (Antuane) Johnson, Katina (Sam) Zee, Carla (Will) Harris, and Marla (John) Henry; 14 grandchildren; special cousins, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends/special friends.
