Funeral services for Janie Lee King, 79, of Panama City, FL, (formerly of Meadville, MS), who passed away on September 5, 2023, will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Luther Bonds Sr. and Rev. Dr. Rickey O'Quinn Sr. officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow later.
Visitation Services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and again on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 11:00 A. M. until service time at the Lighthouse Center.
Janie Lee was born June 21, 1944, in Franklin County, MS to Rufus Hickingbottom and Lula Mae King.
Janie Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Hickingbottom and Lula Mae king.
Janie Lee was truly a wonderful and loving person, who was loved by all who knew her. Janie Lee was survived by three loving and devoted children; four siblings; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends near and far.
