Funeral services for Frank James McGowan, 68, Port Gibson, MS, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at Claiborne County Medical Center in Port Gibson, MS will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at New Come and See Church at 12:00 P.M., burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez, MS and on Friday, January 20, 2023, at New Come and See Church in Port Gibson, MS from 11:00 A.M until the service time.
Frank was born May 2, 1954, in Port Gibson, MS, to Burnell McGowan and Burniece Hulbert McGowan.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bertha Lee Stewart and Emma Alexander; four brothers, Richard Burns, Aaron Burns, Arthur McGowan and Burnell McGowan Jr.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Felisa Wilson and husband Archie of Pattison, MS, Fetisa Campbell and Zamaria Campbell both of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Yvette McGowan of Houston, TX and Baseemah Abdullah and husband Quiyim of Champagne, IL; one brother, Freddie McGowan and wife Mary of Port Gibson, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
