Funeral services for Edna Faye Wagley, 71, of McComb, MS, who departed this earthly life on October 13, 2021, at Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria, LA will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Clayton Pentecostal Church in Clayton, LA, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Milton Rushing officiating burial will follow at Merriett Family Cemetery in Newellton, LA under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
Edna was born on March 30, 1950, in Monroe, LA, to Alex Wesley Johnese and Myrtle Mae Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Wesley Johnese and Myrtle Mae Baker, one son, James Wesley Merriett; husband, Karl Wagley; two brothers, Willie Wesley Johnese and Daniel Johnese; two sisters, Lola Mae Johnese & husband Ray and Jeanette Merriett; one sister in law-Debra Jean Johnese; one stepson-Wayne Wagley;
Edna is survived by one son, William Merriett and wife Stephanie of Mccomb, Ms.; two sisters, Lillian Garrison and husband Randy of McNair, Ms. and Nancy Johnson of Vidalia, La.; one brother, Laudell Johnese of Waterproof, La.; one stepdaughter, Phyllis Kirkland of Zachary, La.; two stepsons; Chris Wagley and wife Shannon of Prairieville, La. and Jr Merriett of Zachary, La.; two Sister in laws, Emma Johnese of Sicily Island, La. and Frances Johnese of Ferriday, La.; one brother in law-William Richard Merriett of Clayton, La.; and Many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
