Graveside services for Diane Carter Bailey, 66, of Fayette, MS, who departed her earthly life on February 5, 2021, in Vicksburg, MS, will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette, MS with Pastor Lonnie Culbert officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Walk through visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel Natchez. Please be advised all visitors are required to wear masks and will not be permitted entry without them. There is a maximum of 25 people allowed in the chapel. Visitors will be rotated out. Please be considerate of the family; wear masks, hand sanitize, social distance and adhere to all safety precautions.
Diane was born on June 19, 1954, in Fayette, MS, to Leon Carter Sr. and Eva Stampley Carter.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; one som, Robert Mantrell Carter; three sisters, Oral Dell Stampley, Irene Norton and Doris Carr; four brothers, Leroy Stampley, Lee Edward Carter, Leon Carter and Claude Albert Carter Sr.
Diane is survived by her husband, Tony Ray Bailey Sr.; one daughter, Shelia Carter Gaines; two sons, Robert Carter and wife Angela and James Tenner and wife Velronquie; two step children that she raised as her own, Tony Ray Bailey Jr. and Twala Hobes; five sisters, Azelia Shelby, Vivian Wade, Willie Mae Stampley, Julia Banks and Angela Carter; seven brothers, Julius Carter Sr and wife Beatrice, Freddie Carter and wife Anita, Roosevelt Carter, Allen Carter and wife Jerry Dean, Anthony Carter and wife Kristina, Vincent Carter and Michael Carter and wife Rebecca; seven grandchildren, Daishon, Keishon, Lauryn. Jah’verein, Chelsea, Tyler and Carson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
