Natchez – September, 16, 1974 – June 19, 2020 Graveside services for De’leslie Brizette Bernard, 45, of Natchez, MS, who passed away at her residence on June 19, 2020, will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Providence Cemetery in Natchez, MS, at 12:00 P.M. under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. De’leslie was born on September 16, 1974, in Natchez, MS, to Charles Bernard and Diane D. Mitchell. She was a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Katie Mae Mitchell; her mother; and brother, Melvin Lyles, Jr. De’leslie leaves to cherish her memories her loving son, Charles Shelton Rodriquez Bernard of Killeen, TX; one granddaughter, Londyn Thomas of Houston, TX; dad, Charles and stepdad, Melvin (Patricia) Lyles both of Natchez, MS; two sisters, Melanie Lyles (Timothy) White of Dallas, TX, and Kimberly Floyd of Manvel, TX; one brother, Xzavion “BJ” Raqsdale of Natchez, MS; aunt and caregiver, Sherry Bernard; cousin and caregiver, ShaShonda Graves; special friends, Mary Thomas and Gail Bassett; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and students. De’leslie was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
