Obituary for Bobby Louis “Zeak” Gibbs
Meadville – July 10, 1956 – April 16, 2021
Funeral services for Bobby Louis Gibbs aka “Zeak”, 64, of Meadville, MS, who departed his earthly life on April 16, 2021 at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS, will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS, at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Bill Smith Officiating burial will follow at Meadville/New Fork Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
A wake service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Bude. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until service at Lighthouse Center in Meadville, MS. Please be advised all visitors are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Please be considerate of the family; wear masks, hand sanitize, social distance and adhere to all safety precautions.
Bobby “Zeak” was born on July 10, 1956, in Mississippi to Bruno Gibbs Sr and Curlee Gibbs.
Bobby “Zeak” was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Curlee Gibbs; seven siblings, Evelyn, Genice, Curley, James, Jerry; Tony and Margie.
He leaves to cherish her memories, his wife, Shirley Ford Gibbs; four children, Latrice Bradford, Dana Gibbs, Damien Gibbs and Deidre Grace; two grandchildren, Jaylen Usher and Malachi Butler; two sisters, Gloria Cannon and Shirley Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
