Bartlett Campbell Starnes was born September 23, 1961 to Davis Newton Starnes and Ruby Campbell Starnes. He made his early transition on May 27, 2023 at his home in Madison, MS.
Bart spent his childhood years in Pattison, MS. He attended Chamberlain Hunt Academy in Port Gibson, MS. He was an Alumni of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS, home of the Golden Eagles.
Bart confessed his belief in Christ in 1992. He retired as Senior Coordinator of Nuclear Security. He had a passion for family, food, history, travel and USM football.
Bart will be forever cherished in the heart of his devoted wife of thirty years and best friend of thirty-five years, Ida (Sue) Starnes. His brother, Newton Davis Starnes (Lynn); his Sister, Sherrill Dale (Leon) ; three daugthers: Halie Palmer (Austin), Magik M. Bee, and Misty M. Bee, his Goddaugther, Kennedy Marshall, Godson, Darius Breyon Grant, and his Grandchildren Luke Palmer, Lennox Palmer, Nellie Palmer, and Major Carter Bee.
